We are thrilled to introduce our new Commercial Director for the UK, Tim Kidd. Tim's impressive background includes serving as the Director for Public Sector at Hitachi Solutions Europe, where he successfully led the public sector sales team for 5 years.

Tim brings a wealth of experience and a strong business acumen to Codec. He has consistently achieved year-on-year growth and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results for public sector organisations in the UK.

In his new role, Tim will be responsible for expanding our presence in the UK and leveraging our years of expertise in modernisation and transformation gained from working with the Irish government to support UK Public Sector organisations.

This appointment is a strategic milestone for Codec, showcasing our commitment to investing in the UK economy and tech services as highlighted by our recent London office opening in Paddington by Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Dr Jennifer Carroll McNeill. 

It also builds upon our recent success as winner of Microsoft Country Partner of the year for 2023, and will be crucial in achieving our growth plans to hire an additional 100 people, bringing total employment at the company to over 465 Microsoft Cloud professionals. In our recruitment, we are committed to fostering digital upskilling, attracting top talent, and placing a special emphasis on neurodiversity.
