Codec is extremely proud to announce that our CFO, Fiona Daly has been shortlisted for the forthcoming Image awards in the Digital and Technology businesswoman of the year category.
With over 650 entries for the awards, this is an extremely competitive field and is an incredible achievement for Fiona both personally and professionally.
Fiona has over 25 years experience in the professional IT services sector and has been with Codec for more than 20 of those years. She has grown her skills and experience over the years and currently holds the position of CFO, Head of Talent and Head of Legal for Codec. In combining these roles, Fiona has been central to the continued success of the company in growing the organisation to where it is today with over 300 staff in 8 locations worldwide and over €35m in annual revenues.
Additionally, Fiona has also been instrumental in developing Codec’s corporate charity work, most notably through the organisation’s partnership with Ruhama, a charity dedicated to working with victims of prostitution and sexual exploitation. Thanks in large part to her efforts, Codec now provides regular coding training, career coaching and mentorship to empower those victims with professional skills for a career in tech. Since the start of this partnership, Codec has hired three new graduates of this program.
Winners will be announced at a luxurious awards ceremony, on Friday, April 14 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. We wish Fiona all the best for the awards and look forward to a great evening!
